Role You Will Play

  • Tasked with creating and maintaining an efficient talent acquisition team, optimizing sourcing, recruiting, and related support role functions, activities methods, and technologies
  • Design, implement, and evaluate talent acquisition strategies and processes that incorporate extensive labor market expertise, align with the organization’s business objectives, comply with EEOC and OFCCP requirements and best practices, ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience, and are efficient, effective, and adaptable
  • Collaborate with line-of-business leaders to assess and forecast staffing needs
  • Develop and implement programs to build talent pipelines for positions at all levels, including high-potential employees
  • Craft effective digital and social media recruiting strategies and processes
  • Actively participate in and support compensation plan and job analysis/structure design and development
  • Oversee the evaluation and utilization of psychometric assessment tool(s) to optimize the identification of highly qualified and uniquely skilled talent
  • Partner effectively with other key teams, both within Human Resources and across the organization, to design, implement, and evaluate retention strategies (i.e., compensation, skills development, cultural campaigns, communication/engagement events, reward/recognition) tailored to the needs of various employee groups
  • Partner effectively with Marketing and Communications teams to enhance the Bank’s image as an employer of choice
  • Partner effectively with Learning & Development (L&D), line-of-business leaders, and other key teams to develop and enhance L&D programs, ensuring excellence in new employee onboarding and learning plans
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of DEI programs and proactively incorporate DEI goals into talent acquisition strategy
  • Incorporate a thorough understanding of company culture, values, and mission to inform all strategies
  • Embrace and effectively utilize data to make informed business decisions and drive strategy
  • Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions
  • Enthusiastically embrace, support, and model the bank’s values and mission
  • Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines

Experience and Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of talent acquisition strategies including, but not limited to, utilizing digital and social media channels, internal and external recruiters, events, assessment tools, technology, data sources, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of traditional and current industry-leading functional areas of talent acquisition and retention
  • Knowledge of functional HR processes and related legal compliance
  • Ability to design and deliver effective solutions in partnership with bank leadership
  • Ability to analyze program effectiveness, draw insights that lead to their improvement, formulate lasting solutions, and develop new strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field, or commensurate work experience, required; master’s degree in business, training and development, learning theory, psychology, organizational behavior, HR management, and/or related field preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive work experience in human resources talent acquisition and management, including leading complex initiatives, required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience, including managing the work of others, required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of financial institution experience preferred
