BEST-IN-CLASS Super-Community Bank has engaged The Anderson Search Group to identify an SVP Trust Investments Officer to take over a $390 million book of business in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a client The Anderson Search Group has placed several executive level leaders and everybody raves about the bank, the leadership and the culture.  The Trust and Wealth Division of this bank is poised for explosive growth over the next few years and this position plays a crucial role in that growth.  Must reside in Little Rock, AR, or be open to relocation to Little Rock, AR.  No remote options.

About the Role:

The SVP, Trust Investments Officer constructs and manages individualized investment portfolios in conjunction with clients’ financial needs and objectives. As their trusted advisor, you will work directly with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. You will also provide effective asset management by researching and analyzing investment products including, but not limited to, individual securities, mutual funds, ETFs, REITs, and UITs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Actively participate in business development by conducting and facilitating existing/prospective client meetings and client portfolio review calls
  • Understand and communicate current positioning of all firm strategies, recent changes in key holdings or sectors, and investment results relative to benchmarks
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
  • Analyze portfolios including positioning and performance results
  • Generate and review trades • Supervise investment staff
  • Monitor accounts for any client account investment guidelines violations, updates, and changes
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills when problem-solving and initiative to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Communicate with both clients and internal bank partners regarding various investment policies, procedures, and compliance issues, ensuring a high level of client service is maintained
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal partners across multiple business lines to ensure understanding of business needs and development opportunities
  • Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills to meet exacting deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Prepare client presentations, communication, and reporting
  • Participate in and contribute to Trust Investment Committee
  • Enthusiastically embrace, support, and model the bank’s values and mission
  • Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines

Ideal Candidate Shall Possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, or economics, or commensurate work experience, required
  • 7+ years’ experience in a trust/wealth management function or equivalent experience required
  • CFA required
