- 5+ years experience administering, retaining and growing trust and estate planning business
- JD, CFP, or CTFA preferred but not required
- Demonstrated success managing and administering acquired and assigned accounts including, but not limited to investment management, estate, guardianship, and irrevocable trust accounts, on a day-to-day basis
- Proven ability to identify and refer business to internal business partners
- Clean U4 and Series 7, 6 and 63 or 66, and Life and Health Insurance
- CFP preferred but not required
- Proven ability to have built their own book of business to at least $60 million AUM in fee based business
- Portfolio of clients $750K and up in net worth
- Will consider out of market candidates wishing to relocate to Salt Lake City as long as there are ties to the community ie went to school there, family there etc.
- Already possess or develop ability to review and understand ESOP business valuations.
- Already possess or develop ability to review and understand ERISA based plan documents – ESOP, 401k, profit sharing, etc.
- Learn to evaluate ERISA requirements for retirement plans and access the related fiduciary duties and risks.
- Communicate to employer clients and participants plan requirements and operational features.
- Establish relationships with other service providers to develop both referral sources and provide recommendations to clients who may need additional and varied services.
- Establish a basic understanding of investments and the ability to convey investment related topics to plan sponsor and employee participants.
- Sales ability to market our employee benefit products to help grow the department.
- Already possess or ability to learn regulatory requirements.
- JD preferred but not required.
- Formal Credit Training
- 10+ years experience in custom credit/tailored credit underwriting and/or structuring for high-net-worth individuals and 3+ years developing new business in the high net worth arena focused on loans, deposits, investment AUM and planning.
- Proven track record and ability to bring in HNW new loans, deposits, investment AUM and planning revenue using their own external centers of influence – not relying on internal referrals.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to build a business.
- Well rounded, holistic approach to HNW wealth management solution selling – we are not interested in candidates ONLY focused on a single area of wealth – must be able to sell all solutions.
- Community and board involvement with pockets of wealth in and around the San Francisco market.

- 25+ years business development, credit and relationship management experience
- Rare combination of proven business development and stellar credit skills
- Routinely self-sourcing $15 million – $20 million in loans and $10 million – $15 million in deposits annually
- C&I and Owner Occupied CRE lender – sweet spot for deals is $5 million
- Other types of loans he is experienced with: Investment CRE, multi-family CRE, ABL
