The Anderson Search Group is partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization to identify an Outbound Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in driving lead generation, appointment setting, and revenue growth through outbound email marketing and automation.
This position offers the opportunity to build, launch, manage, and optimize outbound campaigns while working directly with leadership in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Position Overview
- The Outbound Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing outbound email campaigns designed to generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.
- This individual will oversee campaign strategy, audience segmentation, deliverability management, testing initiatives, reporting, and ongoing optimization efforts. Success in this role will be measured by campaign performance, lead quality, meetings generated, and overall contribution to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Campaign Management
- Build, launch, and optimize outbound email campaigns using platforms such as Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, Lemlist, Mailshake, or similar technologies
- Develop multi-touch email sequences designed to generate responses and qualified sales opportunities
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, calls-to-action, and campaign structures
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and implement optimization strategies
- Collaborate with leadership on campaign strategy, messaging, and target audience development
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Build and maintain prospect databases
- Segment audiences to improve campaign relevance and performance
- Support lead research, enrichment, and list-building initiatives
- Identify new target markets, verticals, and prospect segments
- Assist in the development of scalable outbound prospecting strategies
- Email Deliverability & Infrastructure
- Monitor domain health and sender reputation
- Assist with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration and maintenance
- Manage inbox warm-up and deliverability best practices
- Troubleshoot deliverability issues and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain campaign compliance and email performance standards
- Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track campaign metrics including:
- Open rates
- Reply rates
- Positive response rates
- Meetings booked
- Lead quality
- Conversion performance
- Prepare weekly and monthly campaign performance reports
- Utilize analytics to improve ROI and campaign effectiveness
- Present recommendations and performance insights to leadership
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3+ years of experience in outbound marketing, email marketing, lead generation, demand generation, or marketing automation
- Experience utilizing platforms such as:
- Instantly.ai
- Apollo
- Smartlead
- Mailshake
- Lemlist
- Similar outbound marketing technologies
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills
- Understanding of outbound campaign strategy and performance optimization
- Basic knowledge of email deliverability best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred
- Experience within financial services, lending, insurance, B2B sales, or other lead-generation-focused industries
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
- Familiarity with AI-driven personalization and outreach technologies
- Exposure to sales development, appointment generation, or revenue marketing initiatives
- Experience building outbound systems from the ground up
