- Formal Credit Training
- 3+ years experience underwriting C&I loans $5 million to $25 million in size (this includes owner occupied commercial real estate)
- 1+ years underwriting Sponsor Finance and/or Private Equity Backed loans, Leveraged Finance/Lending
- 4+ years of proven success driving sales, loan and deposit growth for multiple retail bank branches
- Deep understanding and network in and around the Nashville market
- DeNovo or new territory retail bank expansion growth initiative experience
- Strong track record in coaching, hiring and retaining talent, and branch operations
- 7+ Years C&I lending experience in and around Los Angeles
- Formal credit training and stellar credit skills
- Proven ability to generate their own new business using an external network and centers of influence
- 7+ years private banking/private client operational and leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to successful design, launch and operate the private bank/private client platform for a bank – build out private bank playbook, build out policies and procedures, dashboards/KPI’s
- CFP strongly desired
- Role is based in Little Rock, Arkansas – must either live there or be able to relocate there – no remote or hybrid
- 7+ years wealth management experience focused on new business development in Houston in the HNW/UHNW space
- CFP preferred but not required
- Must be hold series 7 and 66 and Texas Life and Health Insurance with clean U4
- Client prefers a candidate with a portable book over the first 2-4 years
- Formal Credit Training or Credit Analysis/Underwriting experience in commercial and/or private banking
- 10+ years private banking experience in the Houston Market
- Proven track record of developing new custom credit/tailored credit, private banking loans and deposits via their own external COI’s/network
30+ year Commercial/Corporate Banker covering Miami and South Florida
- Portfolio includes participations/syndications and working capital lines of credit
- $130 million in loan commitments
- $100 million in loan outstandings
- Consistently self-sourcing $30 million – $40 million in loan volume annually and $10 million in deposits
- Client base consists of specialized industries, insurance businesses, electronics businesses, import/export companies, manufacturers, real estate investors, and merchant services businesses
- Client size is $50 million – $500 million
Dallas Wealth Advisor
- Consistently self-sourcing $12 million – $17 million in new AUM annually and $3 million – $5 million in deposits
- Circles of influence consist of board associations, Vogel Alcove, SMU Alumni Network, estate planners and high end real estate executives
- Average client size is $2 million – $3 million in AUM
- Clients consist of attorneys, business owners (current and retired), physicians, real estate professionals, and some serial entrepreneurs

- 20+ year Commercial Banking Veteran
- Successfully launching and leading middle market teams in the Tampa area for the past 9 years
- Profitability achieved within the first 12 months
- Team portfolio exceeded $300 million in loans and $75 million in deposits within the first 18 months

Challenge
First State Bank of Uvalde, a $1B+ Super Community Bank located in Uvalde, Texas, needed to identify a talented, senior commercial banker outside the market, who was open to relocation and able to take over a large book of business as well as assist in growing the bank. This proved especially difficult as the search would be kicking off immediately following the tragic school shooting at Robb Elementary.
